Why I am against dieting

Dieting promotes food fear, orthorexia, and eating disorders. It only works as a "quick fix" that never truly addresses the problem, only the symptoms. It isn't sustainable and it's unhealthy in the long run because dieting doesn't support the body's physiology. Going on restrictive diets is never the answer. Especially the ones that remove a whole food group and/or make you undereat. They are just creating more problems in the long term. If you struggle with digesting real foods, then maybe it’s not the food’s fault but rather your digestion’s.

🥩Do you feel better when restricting animal foods?

Your digestion and especially stomach acid are most likely not functioning optimally.

🍏Do you feel better when restricting starches and plants?

You might have dysbiosis in your intestines or SIBO.

🍽️Do you feel better when restricting calories?

Running on stress hormones always feels good until it doesn't. Your body can handle only so much and putting unnecessary stress on the body to push it to make its own fuel is gonna cost your body a lot of nutrients and burn through your reserves.

As you can see, being restrictive doesn't heal the problem, it simply gets rid of a symptom. If you are looking for:
