My acne journey
If you told me that one day I would be posting my bare face full of acne, I would get mad at you just for suggesting it. Acne used to be my biggest insecurity. I was ashamed to meet my bf without makeup, to go to a store, go to work, meet my family and friends, etc. Even makeup couldn't cover those huge bumps. But here I am, empowered to share my story in a hope that it might help someone. So let's do a comparison.

The picture on the left:
- approximately a year after I stopped taking birth control
- after two sets of antibiotics
- malnourished (I hated food, ate twice a day, I cut out sugar and dairy)
- wrong mindset - my body is working against me
- looking for a quick fix

The picture on the right:
- content with my skin
- nourishing my body with nutrient-dense foods
- trying to create an environment where my body can heal itself
- being patient

@korimeloy and her course changed my life. She inspired me to make informed decisions about my health and taught me a lot about human physiology and nutrition. She's the woman no. 1 that I look up to and who inspired me to become a health coach. @notjustcreams has been a huge help as well! I would not have made it this far if it wasn't for her coaching. Valerie worked with me for 3 months and helped me tremendously to implement a pro-metabolic lifestyle, come up with a helpful skincare routine, but most importantly to be in peace with my skin. I highly recommend following those two ladies.
